MacOS vs Windows

If you're using MacOS, you'll have the advantage of testing and deploying apps to both the iOS App Store and the Google Play Store. However, if you're on Windows, you can only build and deploy your apps to the Google Play Store.

This is due to Apple's development requirements, which require Xcode (only available on MacOS) for building, testing, and submitting iOS apps. If you’re on Windows and want to publish to the iOS App Store, you’ll need access to a Mac. I’ll provide guidance on alternative solutions like cloud-based Mac services, but these services often come with additional costs.

Publishing on iOS App Store

Just a heads up—publishing your apps on the iOS App Store requires a $100/year Apple Developer Account. I'll walk you through the process in the course, but you'll need to set up and maintain your own Developer Account if you want to get your apps out there. This fee isn’t covered in the course, so be sure you’re ready to take that step!

Backend Services for Pro Tier Course

For those diving into the Tier 2 course, you'll need an AWS (Amazon Web Services) account. I won’t be covering the costs for AWS compute resources, so you'll need to handle setting up your own account and managing any related expenses. Don’t worry—I’ll provide detailed instructions on how to get everything up and running during the course.
